1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the CaloV application, creating an account, or subscribing to any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the application.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the application. By using CaloV, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Description of Services
CaloV provides services related to nutrition tracking, calorie management, health goal management, and AI-powered food image analysis.
The application may include the following services:
Daily calorie requirement calculations.
Meal, water, and weight tracking.
AI-powered food image analysis.
General nutrition recommendations.
Access to premium features and services through paid subscriptions.
4. Medical Disclaimer
CaloV is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.
All information, recommendations, and content provided through the application are for educational and informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice from a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider.
Users are solely responsible for any health or dietary decisions made based on information obtained through the application.
5. Use of Artificial Intelligence
The application utilizes artificial intelligence technologies to analyze food images and estimate calories and nutritional values.
While we strive to provide accurate results, all AI-generated outputs are estimates and may not be 100% accurate.
Users are responsible for independently verifying information before relying on it for health or dietary decisions.
6. Accounts and Security
Users are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
All activities conducted under their account.
Users must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to or use of their account.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features and services require a paid subscription.
Payments are processed through authorized app marketplaces, including Google Play and Apple App Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew according to the settings of the platform through which the subscription was purchased unless cancelled by the user.
Users may manage or cancel subscriptions through their respective Google Play or Apple App Store accounts.
Deleting a CaloV account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Subscription pricing, promotions, and offers may vary and will be displayed within the application or applicable app marketplace.
8. Refund Policy
Refund requests are subject to the policies of the marketplace through which the purchase was made, including Google Play and Apple App Store.
CaloV is not responsible for issuing refunds outside the applicable marketplace policies.
9. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
Engage in activities that violate applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the application, systems, or data.
Manipulate, misuse, or interfere with application services or results.
Copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the application without prior written permission.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the application, including software, designs, logos, trademarks, content, and other materials, are owned by CaloV or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaloV shall not be liable for:
Inaccurate calorie estimations or AI-generated results.
Health, nutrition, or lifestyle decisions made by users based on information provided by the application.
Data loss, service interruptions, technical failures, or issues arising from third-party services.
12. Account Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms, misuses the application, or harms the application, its services, or its users.
13. Updates and Technical Changes
We may release updates, enhancements, security improvements, bug fixes, or new features from time to time.
Continued access to certain services may require installation of the latest version of the application.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be made available through the application or other appropriate channels. Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of the application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
